I have to say thankyou to my great friend Ann who has provided me with this beautiful ceramic bird. She has been so supportive and thoughtful,I want to say how much I appreciate her friendship. It was an absolute joy to paint. The pomegranate seeds were quite fun and surprisingly easy.
Even though the bird is clearly ceramic, and the seeds are pomegranite, the bird really looks poised to start pecking at them!
ReplyDeleteLovely composition!

Thankyou so much for all the support and encouragement over the years, and especially now with the painting.
ReplyDeletePainting ceramic can be really tricky and you did a fabulous job.I also loved the detailing on it.The pomegranate seeds look just right.I really had tough time painting them and if you feel they were easy to paint then I would say "Bravo":)
ReplyDeleteHi Yasha, thankyou so much for your compliments.Your painting I think was much harder because you had the whole fruit with all the seeds tightly packed together.I think you did an amazing job. : )
