My dear artist friends....can you feel another question coming on??? I would love to know what music you listen to when you paint,if any. I love all sorts of music and today I heard this in the car...it just blew me away,I felt like I could be floating on a cloud listening to this........Alt-J - Something Good
Another beauty Azra! I love this blue vase. I don't listen to music. At this point in my life I find that music can be distracting for me. When I paint, I really need to focus. I really admire those who can listen to music and paint!
Lately, I have been listening to audio books. I get most of them from my library and download/play them on the Itunes. I've listened to al kinds of genres and have found some really terrific authors not on my radar. We have a Barnes and Noble Nook but it doesn't read to you like I understand the Kindle does. Other than that I listen to ALL kinds of music. And that's lovely, Az! Now off to listen to this song....
This is so pretty, Azra! I love the color combination, and as always, your lovely brushstrokes are just gorgeous! I tend to have the television on for company. An old movie and a cup of hot tea make great studio companions for me. :)
Love this painting, absolutely beautiful, everything is so soft,definitely another favorite ! I LOVE music and always listen to something, often the radio , but could also be something celtic or anything soft...but it all depends on the mood. I listened to 'your song', loved it, very different !
I'm a huge Blues fan. Love Keb Mo, John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt. I always play music when I paint. Love to learn about new music so thanks for Something Good.
Hello Azra:) Wow if I would listen to your music while painting I would make something abstract without knowing it! :) No, no music for me while painting. Absolute silence! Maybe a little bit the sound of my little TV in the kitchen. You made a beautiful painting again. I really love that beautiful shaped vase. And the color is perfect. Very nice Azra!xx
