Fruit and Flower II

Fruit and Flower II
Oil on canvas board 4"x4"
SOLD

One of my new years resolutions was to paint outdoors. I can't believe its the third week in May and I still haven't attempted it. So today I got the ball rolling and bought myself an outdoor easel and painting transporter combined. I always try to justify any money I spend on myself, I think thats a woman thing!! We always put ourselves last on the list. Anyway this was an essential buy and I can't wait for the delivery. Then I really will have no excuse and hopefully I can embark on the next step of this fantastic journey.  :  )

  1. Adding the half cut berry was a great decision, it looks beautiful next to the flower , nice one Azra... I agree with you when you say we put ourselves last, but you are better than me.. I have bee painting with out an easel , a veggie cutting board on my lap is for the time being playing the role :-)

  3. Very fresh painting Azra, I love it! I wish I would paint more outside as well...so many factors involved. Good luck with your resolution!

  4. Fresh was my first impression of this painting, too. Love it.

Plein air painting is so different, but such a wonderful experience.
