Glad To Be......

I fell in love with these gladioli, especially since they were on sale... £1.69 for six stems. The reds in these flowers are so beautiful and trying to do them justice was not easy but I enjoyed the process.

  1. Ooh, those are luscious rich reds! And the contrast of the green wall, clear glass and shadows really makes a striking piece! Congratulations!

  7. Dear Azra:) I tried to do them too, only with watercolor. I failed. I couldn't see it were the beautiful flowers I had on my table:( You did a great job and they look very realistic Beautiful red color and the vase is very nice!

  11. Glorious reds, nice composition. Lovely painting, Azra.

Like your advice on 'tacking' the canvas board to a larger board. I've used rolls of masking tape, but like your idea better.
