Lunch at the park

I love feeding the birds in the park, especially in winter.Only this time I took my camera with me.I would dearly love to adopt a more loose style of painting,I think this time I have achieved it.Mostly though I'll paint something and then can't resist neatening up the edges.Hopefully the more I paint the more relaxed I will become in my style.

  1. you've got some great stuff here, this one is impressive also, how long have you been painting? been on any courses?? I've been trying my hand at art and finding it really difficult, takes a lot of hard work and commitment, although admittedly i do love it and it keeps me out of trouble ;-) they say practice makes perfect, I'm gonna need a lot of practice.. you're already there, you've done some great work here. your family must be so proud

  2. Hi Anonymous, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. This is what makes it worthwhile.I have been doing a two hour weekly adult learning course in acrylics,on and off for the last two years. We have been producing a painting on average once a month.I did'nt actually start painting in earnest until about six months ago.I would say it is hard work, but its worth it.Keep practicing, believe me you will improve.
