Asparagus in a Glass

I've never cooked asparagus but I saw these at our local grocery store and they were reduced in price.I don't think like the normal housewife anymore, its all about what can I paint and will I be able to cook it after. These were'nt looking too fresh so I thought I would give them a drink and they started to bend and curl slightly.Fruit and veg never looked so interesting. : ))

  8. Great color. I like the movement in the asparagus and also the way you painted the background.
Try roasting them in the oven with a little olive oil and salt - yummy!
