Cheeky Oil on stretched canvas,5"x7" SOLD |
I'm still finding my way around oils and it lends particularly well to this kind of brushwork, although acrylics with the use of a retarder(as my good friend Jean Nelson has said) would have the same effect. To make the best of both mediums is my ultimate goal,as I am already comfortable with acrylics I would not want to lose that.
How very sweet Azra, you captured very well the 'expression' of this little fellow, he looks like the one hopping around in my garden :-)) Have a nice day!

ReplyDeleteI think it would be easy to get lost in detail with this cheeky, little fellow, but you did a great job keeping your brushwork soft and loose, Azra. Your colors are wonderful, too. Have a great weekend, sweet friend. :)
