I would just like to take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate all your comments. Its what makes blogging such a brilliant experience. : )
I love them both!!
ReplyDeleteHello Azra:) Why make it so difficult on us? Your previous Blue Tit is so beautiful because of the bright colors. On this one everything looks softer wich makes it very pleasant to look at. Love the Great Brittian flag:) I can't choose yet, I've got to see more in the abstract way! Then I'll tell you what I think:)
ReplyDeleteBy the way: I appreciate your comments always!
By the way2: Is it allright with you if I paint the previous photo that was on top of your blog? It was such a lovely landscape. If not; still good friends!!!
Hi Azra. I love the looser version of your little bird and I know how challenging it is to alter your style. Very sweet painting.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining my blog! Blogging is fairly new to me and each new comment and/or member is so very appreciated! I'm so glad to find you! I'm now also following your Traveling Chicken! What a hoot!
Pretty! I especially like how he acquired a looser "hairstyle". :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a very good job Azra, but to be honest I like both versions. The first one was not bad at all, with it's crisp brushstrokes.
BTW, I have the "herb" from the header of your blog in my garden, we call it broccoli, but looks like it's real name is mustard. Interesting. :)
Both are wonderully painted, love the colors.
ReplyDeleteNice job Azra! I like the loosening up exercise, what a great idea! I think both paintings are great in their own styles.
ReplyDeleteI think these are both wonderful. You paint birds so beautifully, Azra. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you raise the bar for yourself and keep learning Azra, this is so beautfiful.. now can I expect a series to enjoy :-)
ReplyDeleteHe's marvelous! I love bird paintings. Have you ever seen Charley Harper's collage art. His birds are awesome.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
Oh I really like both, they have their own lovely qualities!
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank YOU for visiting my blog and commenting often! As you said it makes blogging a brilliant experience .
This one is my fav. A wee bit more color I think is what makes it work for me. The flag is a great touch!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little bird, so light you can almost feel the feathers, like julie I love the flag ! Just came home from a trip to London and the preparations for the celebration of the queen was everywhere together with the flag :-)
ReplyDeleteAzra I appreciate how you keep improving your self. What a great way of learning.I wish I could loosen up a little with my brush strokes.:)
ReplyDeleteI think you are meant to paint birds-not only birds, but you obviously really know birds because they always sing through your canvas!
ReplyDeleteOH Azra this is just marvelous. So loose and happy. I love this one. You are getting soooo good!
ReplyDeleteIt's working beautifully your loosening up! Such a great little painting Azra.(:
ReplyDeleteStunningly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite little chickadee! She also sings in French ... Bravo Azra !
