Its taking me a bit of time to get used to posting everyday again. One thing I have noticed is I want to take more time over each painting than before. Not necessarily more brushstrokes but thinking about each mark I make and trying to make them count.
I found these flowers growing wild in between the paving and I felt I wanted to give them as much importance as any cultivated flower.
welcome back Azra. Missed you!
ReplyDeleteYour wild flower paintings are my favourite :)
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done, Azra. It's good know you want to take your paintings a step further.Looking forward to see the transitions. All the best and happy painting. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting Azra, I love the flowers and how you placed them in the composition. You also used loose brushtrokes which I think worked really well in the painting.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you back, yes, the wild ones deserve as much attention as the grown ones and i like what you painted!
ReplyDeleteYou did give them lots of importance! They look fabulous. I especially like the purple and yellow one. Very loose and lovely.
ReplyDeleteWildflowers make excellent bouquets and beautiful paintings. I like the version II.Bravo Azra !
ReplyDeleteHi Azra:) Beautiful this painting! Very different than what you normally paint. I wish to say, and this is good mean, it is no requirement to present a painting every day. I can imagine that that is a pressure. And we not want to miss you again:)
