Part of being an artist is solitude, working away at whatever is our latest piece of art. That peaceful space is something I have always enjoyed.I remember as a child spending time by our local pond making little dishes out of the wet clay, and coming home covered in mud and clay, much to my mum's dismay! Great times indeed.
Azra you have perfected yourself at painting roses. Its lovely.
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much Yasha!!
DeleteI really love this one! Very well done. Your are so right about solitude being a big part of an artist's life. Although I'm pretty social, I do enjoy peaceful time to myself and I remember as a child being very content to play alone for hours. Guess that makes hours in the studio enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathleen! Its lovely to know that there are kindred spirits out there.
DeleteHello Azra:) This loneliness is maybe the most important thing for me when painting. It is delicious. In my own world with my own thoughts. I could not live without it anymore.
ReplyDeleteYour rose let see exactly what I mean. Nice!
