Wild Ones V

This painting is the fifth in my wild flowers series.

Wild Ones V
Oil on canvas board,5"x7".
Wild Ones V
Watercolour 5"x7"
Autumn begins in just over three weeks and I can see the signs already.Leaves are changing colour and the silver birch on our road are dropping their  seeds all over the place, most of them it seems in my house! Still they are beautiful trees and I enjoy them at every stage.I always look forward to autumn, the crisp fresh air,the colours and a feeling of potential.

  2. I agree with Karla. (And, strangely, my computer wouldn't let me comment on the last two.) And according to Donato Giancola we need to paint and paint and paint and.... paint. So keep going!

  4. It's fascinating to see oils and watercolours of the same subject side by side. Both are wonderful in their own way.
    Happy Painting.

  5. Both are beautiful in their own ways and it's fun to see them for comparison. I especially like the oil painting. I also look forward to autumn... it still feels like blazing hot summer here!

  6. Beautiful work Azra! Each one has its own charm. I can't choose one.I like the thick paint used for the petals of flowers.Gives it a lovely texture.
