Lady With a Parasol ( After Claude Monet)

Lady with a Parasol (after Claude Monet)
Oil canvas board,4"x4"

Its funny how at the beginning of the year motivation is high and before January is over most of the resolutions fall by the wayside. I set myself two goals ...one was to draw the town I live in and the second was to copy famous paintings.I want to renew my resolve to do both things starting with this little 4"x4" of Monet's Lady with a Parosol.

  4. Very nice Azra, you did a good job on this Monet! I think we should start a monthly challenge to copy a famous painting or painter! We could take turns picking a painting! Oh actually I love the idea....we could have a blog!

  10. Great goal - so much to learn from great painters! I am hoping to do the same and sneak one into my "A to Z" series this week.
