I've been trying out different supports and sizes.

This was painted on paper that is specially designed for oils.I must say I loved the surface,it was much smoother than canvas,the brush fair glided over the surface!

  6. Those roses are so lovely! I think I know the paper you're talking about. I used it when I traveled overseas last year. It has a love surface to paint on and very light for transporting .

  8. Lovely combination of an apple and the roses, looks like canvas surface, I have tried the paper as well, it didnt take much paint without gesso.. did you apply gesso?
