Scent and Sensibility II

Scent and Sensibility
Oil on canvas board 8"x8"
SOLD

This scent bottle is still fascinating me, especially the stopper. I'm trying to cut down on the amount of colour, maybe a little goes a long way?? What do you think?

This classic by Creedence Clearwater Revival ...Suzy Q  has to be played very loud, I do get complaints from the family so I don't treat myself too often.

  1. Oh that is a nice one! And, lol, I picture your family glaring at you with their fingers in their ears.

  3. It's a beautiful set up and I do like the toned down colors. I think there is a constant evolution in painting, sometimes we like it hot and sometimes we don't ...maybe depending on our state of mind . Have a nice weekend.

  6. I love the subdued color palette, I always paint with lots of color but I also love to play with all whites. This painting is lovely and I love the pop of the orange flower.

  7. Very good work, very loose, with good command of the medium.
