Scent and Sensibility III

This is the third and last painting of my friends scent bottle, out of the three I've enjoyed the last two more because they are more loosely painted than the first.
In retrospect maybe I shouldn't have placed the jar in the centre but I think it works.

  1. The first thing that really struck me was the orange! You did such a beautiful job with it, I could just reach into the painting and squeeze the juice from it. This series is lovely Azra.

  2. Dear Azra:) What a time since I've been on here. I had some "things". I now see your new painting at the top of your blog. Wow what beautiful. And then I see not even the colors, because my computer is broken. I've only purple green and yellow:):) Your last painting is also wonderful. I like the set up quite nicely. According to the description, it are red Roses, but on my screen they are black:) Also very beautiful!! With love. xxx

  3. I can feel the velvet touch of your beautiful roses, Azra. The watery blues of the bottle and orange hues are the perfect companions. Beautifully done!
