Snow White and Rose Red II

Its been a while since I painted the first version, always meant to paint more in this theme.
These roses are from my garden, from one bush, my husband has a new hobby... grafting as many different coloured roses onto one bush. At the moment we have yellow, white, red, lilac and pink, all growing at the same time.

  1. Gorgeous, Azra! The softness of your white rose is particularly eye-catching. It glows from within!

  9. Hello dear Azra:) It is much too long since I've been on your blog. I have watched all the paintings that I haven't seen since my last visit. Wow! What a wonderful things you make anyway. Your oil paintings are still beautiful. I'm crazy about you pencil strokes and colors. Also I love your ink drawings. Congratulations on the sale of your painting that appears at the top of your blog. I think this has been quite a challenge, but he is super! I won't stay away so long again:) A big hug!

  10. Hello Azra, I love the way you paint flowers! You have a very pretty and uplifting style.
How lovely your husband's rose bushes must look. His grafting exploits bring back nice memories of a great uncle who used to graft fruit trees - they looked very magical to my eyes as a child.
