Tulip Fields

This was a challenge simply because there was so much colour.

  2. Reminds me of your RA Summer Exhibition painting in its impressionistic brushwork. The more impressionist your work the more I like it. Interesting because as we know, blue recedes and the background hills do this, yet the blue in the foreground works to bring that area forward. Maybe because it's a bright blue compared to the sludgier, greyer blue of the hills? Anyway a challenge well met, Azra!

  4. What a lovely review by Caroline, Azra, amidst the other lovely comments. I agree entirely and I love the way the blue flowers in the foreground are dancing.
