Tick Tock

This is my entry for this weeks The Nature's Arrangement Challenge on the DailyPaintworks.I kept to the time limit, used the paintbrushes stated and also the colours allowed.I found the colour restriction the most difficult because it was hard to mix the right greens and especially getting the right colours for the brick wall.

  1. Az, if you hadn't admitted your struggles, I could not have guessed. You did a really nice job here -- your values are good, as well as the shadows!

  2. Azra this is a wonderfully executed piece. One is asked to follow so many rules and I wonder how could you follow all the rules and still come up with such lovely painting.Pat your back.:)

  3. Azra, nice work! I think the values are more important than getting the right color, and in this you were quite successful! The shadows behind the flowers, among the leaves and between bricks are well placed.

  5. Azra,
Really nice job on the challenge. I still haven't attempted it because of all of the restrictions. Bravo!

  6. Azra, this is beautiful! I loved the color combination in the painting. The red values against brown (warm against warm)works so well.
