I should call this blog "keeping myself entertained when i can't sleep" ! Its now 4am and I've been awake for the last two hours.Tonight though, or this morning I thought I would paint instead of trying to sleep.I think I should practice painting roses more often as I find them the hardest and most frustrating.If it were'nt for all the fantastic comments on the previous post I might have given up on this thorny subject for a while.
Oh my Azra, I admire your passion to paint even at night! Also, your determination to get things right without giving up! I used to sometimes paint late into the night and my husband always opposed this. I know, sometimes we get carried away, being passionate artists. But end of the day, nothing like a good night's rest to feel energised the next day.

I would have done the same Azra, I could never just throw away a beautiful rose. This painting turned out really lovely. I like that you cupped it in a bowl instead of flat on the table. You can see you were trying to protect it from further damage! Well done!
