Strawberry Split

I bought these strawberries yesterday from the supermarket, they just looked so good I could'nt pass this opportunity up to paint them. This dish is something I picked up from a charity shop last winter but the pattern looked so difficult I put off using it.It proved quite  a challenge but thats what you need sometimes,to keep pushing yourself.

  1. Half the battle is won when you start out with a positive attitude, indeed the plate is challenging, but you did a lovely job on that, of course the strawberries look very juicy.. hope you are doing this series on a same size.. may be you can exhibit later..

  2. Thank you for your nice comments on my blog. I love this strawberry painting. All the colors work beautifully together. You did a great job with the plate and your brushwork is lovely. Keep using the nice, thick paint. Always helps for a nicer end product. Good luck with all. You decorate cakes? Cool.
