Blushing Pear

I bought this dish about four months ago but I could'nt work out how to use it until today.You know when a light bulb goes on and a composition comes to together in your mind....the rest is history as they say.

Forsythia and Plums

Well my wish came true.My lovely friend Ann very kindly gave me some forsythia from her garden .Its such a beautiful flowering plant and its one of the first signs that spring is on its way.The last time I painted forsythia was when I was at school.My friend and classmate Katherine and I used to go into the fields surrounding the school and paint.Mostly we ended up doing more talking than painting ,but our teacher never used to mind too much! Ahh ....happy days.
