I've finally managed to paint this composition.I'm not entirely happy with it but it's such a relief to be painting again and that is a reward in itself. : )
I like the little heart plate you use in some of your paintings, it's become a kind of signature for you. Your fruit looks luscious, especially the pear. Not sure what you are unhappy with, but as you have said, we are own worse critics. Nice painting.
