I bought this dish about four months ago but I could'nt work out how to use it until today.You know when a light bulb goes on and a composition comes to together in your mind....the rest is history as they say.
I think this is for the first time you have used plums as a subject.Loved how you painted them.The pear definitely seems to be blushing.:)

Oh Azra, what a happy painting! The colors are lovely, and the fruit looks delicious! It's a pretty dish and you've done well with your shadows in the midst of the design.

Everything about this painting is lovely, I loved the half plums and the blushing pear.. a lovely title you thought of!
