Whisper of Pink
The sun has been shining, the blossoms are finally coming out of hiding.Spring is here at last and it feels like the world is waking up from a long, cold sleep. A friend says its bad luck to pick blossoms from a tree and the trouble with hearing something like that is even if you try not to believe in it
there is always that doubt in your mind.So I will wait until I see some blossoms that have fallen off and paint them or take some photos.

Well your superstition paid off! I always love your lilies. And your jars. Been gone a bit so catching up was a treat again - you are really developing your style, Azra - it's fun to watch your work blossom. Looking forward to all the flowers you'll paint now that spring has arrived!
ReplyDeleteSo very happy for you that spring is finally emerging from your long cold winter. Pretty flower even if it isn't tree blossoms.
ReplyDeleteI agree, if you ar told something like this, you probably want to believe so there is no harm in believing :-) Lovely blossom in the jar to announce the arrival of spring!
ReplyDeleteDear Azra. You always make it seem so easy and effortless...and I know it is not ! This is another beautiful transparent stunner of yours , a very elegant composition ! I am glad you finally got spring in England, I know it has been terribly cold and snowy for ages !!
ReplyDeleteI love the composition and colors...I'm glad you took a chance and cut this blossom...I have a cherry tree in bloom and you can hear a loud hum from way away...the bees are creating a symphony !
