Abraham Lincoln
I have been umming and ahring about this weeks challenge since Saturday. My heart kind of sank because figurative work is just not something that I am interested in at the moment ,but as a challenge I felt finally that I should give it my best. This weeks challenge was Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United States. He is best known for the abolition of slavery and for that alone its been a pleasure to paint his likeness. You can see all the entries on http://www.dailypaintworks.com/

ReplyDeleteDear Azra,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on Abe!
My challenge was aimed squarely at artists such as yourself and I am so glad you took it up and made it your own. It's, "Bravery beyond the call..." and things like that.
Keep up the good work!
