  1. That's too funny! I only eat bananas if they are smoothies. Not sure what the difference is, but I love smoothies and they are good on my diet. Another wonderful painting Azra! Love the colors.

  3. Azra I see that we have both gone bananas ( see my latest post) :-)) These are great, I like the shadow you put under the fruit. Smoothies were always high on the top ten list in my home too, I actually enjoy doing them. xx

  7. Anyway you can get them to eat the fruit is great! I hear you- most kids fight it. On another note, your painting should make them see fruit in another light- so tempting and delicious looking!

  8. I love bananas. I agree with you Azra, most of the time I'd rather have the real fruit but sometimes a smoothie hits the spot. You'll have to share some of your special recipes for them.

I have just painted my first oil painting and now have so much more respect for your painting everyday! Your paintings are always so great looking. I found it was better for me to look at my painting over the course of several days to go in and correct mistakes.

I really like your color combinations here. Looks yummy!

  9. Azra great work on the bananas.I also like the cool background.Well, I am not really very fond of bananas either.Though I love them in cakes and thought of painting bananas has kind of always been a little intimidating for me.Hope some day I gather enough courage and give it a shot.:)

  10. Well I have a bizarre way of eating a banana - I bite off the tip and then split it lengthwise into thirds along the fault lines. Weird. But I digress - Love this painting Azra! The grapes are so glowy and you've got good edges on the bananas.
