Today has been the first really cold day of the year,its been windy,the leaves flying everywhere with sunshine and rain.I thank God for warm clothes and a warm home.I wish the same for everyone in the coming winter.I can enjoy the best of this weather,the beautiful colours and the fresh,bracing air,I am so grateful.
Dear Azra:) For some reason I'm far behind and didn't comment on all your paintings but I did see them all!! Your rose in glass vase is so perfect. You did a great job on the vase. My compliments!!!! Your aubergines are so nice. The color is wonderful. You do a great job on the shadows too. Have a very nice sunday!! xx
They promised us a lot of cold tomorrow too, and like you I am grateful for having warm clothes and a warm home...everybody should have that . Love how you make the vegetables shine and how cleverly you use the shadow. xx

Love your complimentary color decision here, Azra. Very effective - and you got that deep, dark purple color perfectly. In the US we call Aubergines "Eggplants". What a horrible name! :)
