Glad To Be......

I fell in love with these gladioli, especially since they were on sale... £1.69 for six stems. The reds in these flowers are so beautiful and trying to do them justice was not easy but I enjoyed the process.

  6. Azra....i am accustomed to seeing white and yellow gladiolas...the red are a refreshing sight for me....i love the way you handled the water line and the colors came out beautifully.

  7. Dear Azra:) I tried to do them too, only with watercolor. I failed. I couldn't see it were the beautiful flowers I had on my table:( You did a great job and they look very realistic Beautiful red color and the vase is very nice!

    Like your advice on 'tacking' the canvas board to a larger board. I've used rolls of masking tape, but like your idea better.
