Last of Summer

However much I love flowers sadly I have never had green fingers, I planted this rose bush and it has barely survived the first year and produced only two roses, one at the beginning of summer and one just a few days ago. I picked it yesterday because Of plummeting temperatures.

  2. One blessed rose that was saved and made eternal! Lovely Azra!
Growing roses among others is a tricky job and I struggle with them all the time at my home in Bangalore. The rose that I planted at my son's home even with out being taken care(busy people can not take care of a garden :-)) is still yielding lovely flowers regularly! May be it is something more than just green fingers :-)

  9. Maybe next year the bush will produce more buds - they often do that don't they? This one is so lovely, you have truly mastered painting the rose.

  10. As always, this rose is painted beautifully, Azra. Sometimes rosebushes take a few years before they produce well.
