Rapture

Rapture
Oil on canvas board 8"x8"
SOLD
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more”
George Gordon Byron

  1. Beautiful words of G.G. Byron! However, I find your painting much more beautiful:) It made me think a bit on the Van Gogh style. Beautiful colors and nice pencil strokes.

  2. Beautiful, vibrant painting, with gorgeous colors and pleasing composition. (Reminds me of an old song entitled "Red Sails in the Sunset").

  7. Absolutely lovely, Azra, proving that when you are this good, you can break the rules and put the focal point dead centre. I always love the sea and these colours remind me of the sea on the Cornish Coastline.
