Painting flowers over the last few years has taught me that flowers are ever changing. From the bud stage to when they are wilting, each stage is so beautiful. The same could be said of life.

This is beautiful Azra, oh yes, what you said is very true. Except probably the unconditional love from pets.
ReplyDeleteYes, the only way we can grow, and that's our challenge isn't it, learning to accept and welcome change. Lovely palette, Azra, and I particularly like the lost and found areas on the vase 'edges'.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Azra. "Nothing stays the same", but that's a good thing in many ways. I like your color palette in this painting. Very pretty! Also thank you for sharing Temper Trap's video. I enjoyed watching it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting. I like having flowers around, not just because they are cheerful but because they remind me to find the beauty and enjoy this particular day, this particular time. I bought sunflowers yesterday and they have stopped me in my tracks ore than once already.
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty Azra , so light that at first I thought it was a watercolor , love the very fresh look and the gorgeous colors ! The quote is so true, everything evolves in one way or another.
ReplyDeleteJust love the way you painted those flowers Azra ! Wonderful colours too!
ReplyDeleteAzra, you are so skilled. This painting is beautiful and the use of ultramarine for the shadow is inspired. xx
