Applesauce
Well, Art is Art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now you tell me what you know.
Groucho Marx quote.

Cute, Azra! I know that these apples are too gorgeous, crisp and crunchy to make applesauce.
ReplyDeleteLol! You are definitely a cook! thankyou so much!
DeleteBeautiful fresh color and so lovely and shiny, beautiful work Azra.
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much Jane!!
DeleteYou always post the best quotes, Azra. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you used color sparingly and allowed for lots of dark value - funny how the absence of bright color makes an object look more colorful! These apples look so shiny and crisp. My favorite part is the grey-green around the stems - perfect!
Thankyou so much Karen!!
DeleteI like your commentary. Very humourous! And your delicate painting is terrific.
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much Nora!!
