The only way I can get my kids to have fruit, and their not babies anymore ,is to make smoothies!! What a palava,I mean whats wrong with peeling a banana and eating it!
That's too funny! I only eat bananas if they are smoothies. Not sure what the difference is, but I love smoothies and they are good on my diet. Another wonderful painting Azra! Love the colors.
Hai Azra:) Well, smoothies are yummie:) Whit some grapes, a little bit of fuitjuice, a kiwi. Oh eh, I wanted to comment on your painting:) Your painting is lovely Azra and the background looks great on the fruit! Well done!
Azra I see that we have both gone bananas ( see my latest post) :-)) These are great, I like the shadow you put under the fruit. Smoothies were always high on the top ten list in my home too, I actually enjoy doing them. xx
Thankyou so much Jane,it does help if you enjoy making them.My job is cooking so I spend long hours in the kitchen anyway.Still I am very grateful for my job. : )
The red and yellow makes it very interesting Azra! The shadows are free and simple against a lovely back ground. Banana is my latest breakfast that I eat with sugar, cardamom and coconut:-) Some how just cant eat as it is!
Anyway you can get them to eat the fruit is great! I hear you- most kids fight it. On another note, your painting should make them see fruit in another light- so tempting and delicious looking!
I love bananas. I agree with you Azra, most of the time I'd rather have the real fruit but sometimes a smoothie hits the spot. You'll have to share some of your special recipes for them.
I have just painted my first oil painting and now have so much more respect for your painting everyday! Your paintings are always so great looking. I found it was better for me to look at my painting over the course of several days to go in and correct mistakes.
I really like your color combinations here. Looks yummy!
Azra great work on the bananas.I also like the cool background.Well, I am not really very fond of bananas either.Though I love them in cakes and thought of painting bananas has kind of always been a little intimidating for me.Hope some day I gather enough courage and give it a shot.:)
Well I have a bizarre way of eating a banana - I bite off the tip and then split it lengthwise into thirds along the fault lines. Weird. But I digress - Love this painting Azra! The grapes are so glowy and you've got good edges on the bananas.
