Swan sketches

I know having your kitten spayed or neutered is the humane thing to do considering the number of abandoned animals there are out  there,but today was the hardest thing I have ever done to another living thing.Our kitten was due to be neutered about a month ago and I just kept putting it off.We got a surprise when our Tony is actually a Toni!! We picked her up from the vets a couple of hours later and I've spent most of the day in tears.
To distract myself I 've managed to do some drawing and also keep an eye on Toni.

    I'm sorry that you haven't had the best day, Azra. I agree with Karla, though. Toni will be good as new very soon. Kudos to you for spending the day so productively. Your sketches are terrific!

    The continuous movement in these images is reflecting your mind..Hope you feel better soon and Toni too.. I am too emotional and sensitive that I am not not able to keep a pet just because I am not able to deal with them emotionally.

    I can't keep up with you Azra - so many great things from you lately. I really love sketch #4 especially - the angle you got in the legs and feet and the outstretched neck - great movement as Karla said.

    Really nice sketches Azra. There's such a lovely flow and grace to them. And yes it's hard to see a pet go through that but they do heal so quickly. You're doing them good even though it doesn't feel like it at the moment.
